This year we're combining our annual Halloween Party with the return of our FREE Outdoor Movie Nights for the summer. We think that an Outdoor Movie on Halloween calls for something witchy, so we'll be showing the ultimate Halloween movie - Hocus Pocus (as voted by you) on the big screen in the Garden Bar.
Let's be honest, Halloween's the funnest dress-up occasion of the year, so we're going to be dressing up the place good and proper to make the occasion all the more awesome/gruesome.
To get everyone in the mood for fun, we'll be going all out from
6 . 3 0 P M
with gory games, tricks and treats, give aways, disgusting drinks, dress ups, FREE FACEPAINTING! and prizes. Come rival The Cross staff with your best halloween get up!
The actual movie will start later on at
8 . 3 0 PM
(when it's nice and dark), and is 96 minutes long, ensuring you get home for that beauty sleep before midnight.
As well as all the gruesome treats, we'll have the Candy Bar out in the Garden Bar with snacks available - including popcorn (because what would a movie be without pocorn?), and blankets & hot water bottles if the weather doesnt play nice.
Big thanks to the wonderful team at Havana Coffee Works who sponsor our Outdoor Movie Nights, you guys are the greatest! Make sure you grab a cup of their fair-trade, organic coffee goodness from us before the movie so you don't miss a beat.

For those of you who've had a deprived childhood and don't know the plot, here's a short blurb about Hocus Pocus:
After moving to Salem, Mass., teenager Max Dennison explores an abandoned house with his sister Dani and their new friend, Allison. After dismissing a story Allison tells as superstitious, Max accidentally frees a coven of evil witches (Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kathy Najimy) who used to live in the house. Now, with the help of a magical cat, the kids must steal the witches’ book of spells to stop them from becoming immortal.
